Updated · By Bits & Odds — Voitto Virta LLC
As of October 14, 2026, Colorado lists 204 prizes of $1,000 or more still
unclaimed across its 59 scratch games, and 56 of those games still have a top prize.
14 still have a prize of $1,000,000 or more.
Data paused since October 14, 2026, 12:04 UTC. Colorado figures were last read then.
The counts below are that day's, not today's. We show the date rather than presenting old numbers as current.
No payout figure, on purpose. Colorado publishes how many of each prize were printed, but how many are left only for the top prize. A payout, an expected value or the odds today
each need every prize level and how many were printed, so for Colorado we show exactly what its lottery
publishes and compute nothing from it. A figure built from part of a table would be wrong, not rough:
it is how one state's partial table produced games that appeared to pay back more than they cost.
How we treat partial prize tables.
Below is every prize level Colorado publishes — its top prize for each game — with how many are
left, grouped by ticket price and ordered within each price the way the Colorado hub ranks them: games with a top prize still unclaimed first, by the share of their top prizes still unclaimed, then by the better overall odds. A level showing 0 is claimed out.

Colorado lists these as ending. A ticket bought before sales stop can still win any prize they have left,
up to the last claim date where Colorado publishes one. Each row says whether the game is still sold. The
counts are the last ones Colorado published for each game.

Reading these counts
A count of prizes remaining is the most direct thing a lottery publishes, and the easiest to misread. It
says a prize has not been claimed; it does not say the ticket is still on a shelf, because a winning ticket
can be sold and not yet cashed. Nor does a large count mean good odds: a game with thousands of a prize left
may simply be a game that printed millions of tickets. Colorado prints the overall odds of each game, which you will find on each game's page here, and those are fixed when the game is printed.
What a count does tell you without any arithmetic is whether a game's top prize is still in play. A game whose
top-prize count reads 0 can still pay its smaller prizes, but nothing bought today can win the headline.
