Bits & Odds

Privacy Policy

Bits & Odds (bitsandodds.com) is published by Voitto Virta LLC. This page explains what the site collects, which other companies receive data when you visit, and what you can turn off. Last updated 30 September 2026.

What we ask you for

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no comments and no contact form on this site. We do not ask for your name, your email address or any other personal detail, and there is nowhere on the site to give us one. If you email us, we have your message and your address because you sent them; we use them to answer you and nothing else.

Every tool on the site runs in your browser: the number checker on the draw-game pages, and the video poker simulator, trainer, hand analyzer and bankroll calculator. The numbers and hands you enter are worked out on your own device and never sent to us. The only thing a tool remembers is whether you switched the video poker sound off, and that is kept in your own browser’s storage, not by us.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google decides which ads appear and where they go; we do not choose the ads you see, and we do not receive the data Google collects to serve them.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info and, in Europe, at Your Online Choices.

Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and how it uses cookies in advertising in its advertising technologies page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, from which Google derives an approximate location; we see only aggregate reports, never a name or an address. Google’s privacy policy covers what it does with that data, and its opt-out browser add-on stops Google Analytics on every site you visit.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without setting cookies and does not follow you between sites.

Neither Google Analytics nor the ads are loaded for search-engine crawlers and other automated browsers; the pages themselves are served to everyone.

Hosting and security

The site is served from our own server at Google Cloud in the United States, with Cloudflare in front of it as a network, cache and firewall. Both keep ordinary server logs — the address requested, the time, the IP address it came from and the browser’s user agent — which we use to deliver the site, to understand load and to block abuse. Cloudflare may set a cookie of its own when it checks whether a visitor is a person or a bot. Logs are not used to build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or rent data about visitors.

Pages link to the state lotteries and other official sources our figures come from. Following a link takes you to that site, and its own privacy policy applies there. The one Amazon link, on our About page, is an affiliate link: following it tells Amazon that we referred you.

Your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google may ask for your consent before it uses cookies for advertising, through its own consent message, and the ads follow your answer. To change that answer, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and you will be asked again on your next visit. Google Analytics is not controlled by that message; to stop it, use Google’s opt-out add-on above or block its cookies.

Your browser can block or delete cookies, including every advertising and analytics cookie described above, and the site works without them. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data an organisation holds about you and to have it deleted. We hold no account data to return, but if you believe we hold something of yours, write to us and we will answer.

Children

This site is about lotteries and is meant for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

When the ads, the analytics or anything else on this page changes on the site, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
